Idaho snaps & what I'll miss.

It's the start to a long, stressful week of working til 3 in the mornin', packing up my little house, cleaning, moving, studying and preparing for my internship, and saying goodbye to the dream-life of summer. Exciting changes are coming, but this morning, I'm missing the simplicity and slow-moving loveliness of Idaho. 

(super) casual friday

I haven't done a casual Friday post in months, which is a bit ironic considering my whole summer has been casual wear. But I had to post today because this outfit is the epitome of casual: slouchy tee + cut offs. I halfheartedly attempted to dress it up with some color pops in the belt and shoes, but let's be honest here: I did two things in this outfit today, the first being watch 3 hours of Bachelor Pad with my roommates and the second being sit in Starbucks all evening catching up on some work I should have started in June. It served it's purpose. 

I thrifted this Seattle Seahawks tee for $2 yesterday and haven't taken it off since--SO. SOFT. and comfy. And I love repping my city, though I really shouldn't be allowed to wear sports clothing considering my extreme lack of knowledge/interest/skills in most things athletic. Fake it 'til you make it, right?

livin's easy

When you spend the day swimming, boating, jet skiing, and running around in the sun with your crazy extended family and then have approximately 8 minutes to get dressed and ready for another family gathering, it goes something like this: throw on your comfiest dress and slouchiest cardi, add a curl or two to your lake hair and cover the rest with a hat, put on a coat of mascara and run out the door. They're your family, anyway: they have to tell you look good. 

ps: these are taken on just a small part of my grandparents' beautiful property in Idaho; one of my favorite places in the world. already missing it.
