I thought I would take a ton of photos while visiting my sister in San Diego--photos of us together, outfit photos, perhaps even some street style shots--I was really excited to get some good "blog material". However, while there I mostly left my camera in its case. I love photographing good times, but sometimes it's most important to just live those good times instead. I decided not to worry about blogging and instead wore what I wanted, left my camera at home & explored California with only the lenses my eyes provide. And I loved it. That being said, the one thing I did photograph is my sister's home--it is so sweet and so her that I couldn't help capturing some details. Lots of photos after the jump!
She loves her little home and I do, too. Looking forward to visiting again soon! xo Charity

looooooove that stove!!!!
wonderful idea! love the photos you did take.
super adorable red stove!
I totally know how that goes. Sometimes I feel like I'm removing myself from the moment a little when I whip out my camera to capture it, instead of just living it.
Your sister's house is adorable! LOVE her stove!
these are perfect!

Such lovely photos! I just found your blog and am your newest follower!
Love the photos and you are right sometimes as blogger we get so caught up in taking photos that we forget to enjoy the moment an that is the most important part!

I totally know what you mean! So often I just photograph things so I have "blog material", but I'm starting to realize that focusing on simply living is more important than focusing on blog stuff. :)
Anyway, these shots of your sister's house are so gorgeous! I love them. :)

That is a seriously awesome stove! But I know what you mean about intending to take photos but just enjoying the moment instead, both are good and have their time and place.
