Today is my birthday, and just another day where I realize how lucky I am. Between my family, my friends, and my boyfriend, I have been loved on & celebrated for over a week now (we have to celebrate early, before everyone scatters for the holidays) and I just...I just love and appreciate so much the genuine, amazing relationships I have. From my mom's chocolate cake and being sang to by a house full of family friends to going out dancing with my friends to brunch and a gorgeous drive with  my boyfriend, I've had a wonderful week. So blessed. 21 was a damn good year & I can't wait to see what 22 brings! xo!

We are trying to get as many laughs and fun in before classes start again and steal all of our energy. So far, it's working. Here's to the last week of summer and the anticipation of Fall & all it brings! xoxo.

don't even get me started on missing his show at the Gorge a few weeks ago. John Mayer will always be one of my core favorite musicians - no matter how many times my musical tastes have changed and evolved, his voice is always a comfort to me, something familiar to sing along to, lyrics to relate to, cry to, laugh along with, whatever. My sister and I were supposed to go see him on his current tour, but unfortunately she couldn't come home this summer (she lives an amazing, sunny, adventurous life in Hawaii - that's another story) so I ended up not going. I will not miss his next tour!
