A simple outfit I wore on a hot day in Idaho, in between reading Kurt Vonnegut's "The Sirens of Titan" on the porch. I've been on a Vonnegut kick lately, so it bodes well for me that my brother has a large collection of his work that he doesn't mind me borrowing. I love the simplicity and directness that he writes with, even while describing amazing, insane things and concepts. I'm hooked!
I love these cream shorts but to be honest, I am having some difficulty styling them. They worked for this simple outfit but I am way more excited about dressing them up for Fall with some dark tights, a heavy knit sweater, a patterned scarf and some flats. It seems strange that a pair of shorts would work better for Fall than Summer, but I'm convinced. Or maybe it's just me.
