Our Navajo brothers & sisters offered hand-made jewelry to us all throughout our week at the res' as a thank you for the work we were doing there. It was a lovely gesture, in that we knew they had made them special with each of us in mind. I was given these three pieces, and other peo
ple on my were given everything from belt buckles to embellished pencils.The bracelet is my favorite - I love how sweet and delicate the light pink and silver are together! I don't usually wear bracelets, but this one has gotten a lot of use already - I love looking at it & remembering the love and culture I experienced among the Navajo.
