grown up for a day

Man. Looking at these makes me realize how much I love my school.

First of all, happy Monday! I hope you're all having calm, slow, coffee-filled mornings to ease you back into the work week. As for me, I am spending today on a mini road trip to Snoqualmie Falls--so I really cannot complain.

These are the last of the photos my friend Danielle took for my graduation. This is my "fake adult" look: red lips and a white blouse symbolizes adulthood to me, apparently, but I had to throw in some jeans & my favorite shoes. Because let's be real here, I am no adult. I'm not sure when/if that's happening, but for now I'll have to fake it.

So! I now need your help! Look at this post, this post, and the photos above, and let me know which photo you think should be on my grad announcements. I really have no idea which I like best, & would love your input. Since you're all fashionable and artsy & know what's up. Thanks in advance! xo.

Okay, well I absolutely love the second photo on this post. I like that it has your school in the background which seems appropriate since you're graduating from there. I'm gonna take a look at the others and see if I prefer those, but seriously, no wonder it's so hard you look super gorgeous in every single one!

AND YES my morning was caffeine filled. I just got back from France and now it's on with the daily grind of University. Wahooooo!

I love the ones in this post the best--the first one and the 5th one down are so beautiful, you couldn't go wrong choosing either of those!

First of all: how do you pronounce "Snoqualmie " ? haha. I've just tried 10 times but it doesn't sound right. And second I LOVE these photos. You look amazing with that red lipstick! x

I really like the 4th & 5th to last ones :).

I like that you kept it casual with the jeans. I'll be wearing jeans forever, haha. Also, I love finding great blouses at Buffalo Exchange. Yours is so pretty!

I love the second up from the bottom and the third ones. The red lips make this set of photos stand out for me.

Love the bold red lip on you- you look fantastic!

I think the white shirt bold lip thing comes from our mom's in the 90s. That was such a dress up staple!

think the black and white from Tuesday, April 17th or the first one from todays post would be great for grad announcements. I think they're both classics, yet I favor the one from today a little more because I think it somewhat captures your youth.. Cheesy, I know but that's part of grad announcements, right?? :)

You are GORGEOUS! I would definitely go with either these pictures, or the ones with all the beautiful pink trees. These pictures are nice because you are on campus, but those pink flowers are so pretty. Tough choice!

The red lipstick is gorgeous on you, especially with your complexion. I say you should definitely go for these pictures for your grad announcements. It's simple and you look so grown up. Ahh, I'm definitely not ready to graduate but I guess that doesn't matter. Hope your graduation goes well! :)

charity! i love the photos in this post, especially since they are taken at the school you are graduating from. i think it would be a nice sentimental touch to saying good bye. though, i also love the post with the floral dress. the last picture of you blowing those flowers from your hands is just perfect! gorgeous!

p.s. i nominated you with the versatile blogger award!

I was just browsing through your blog thinking it was so lovely... and then my heart skipped a little beat to see my beloved Old Main in your photos! That was always my favorite place on campus.

You look gorgeous with the red lipstick! I just bought my first red lipstick - I also just graduated from college and feel it's my time to start creating my "adult" style. :) I love your blog! xoxo, Arianna from Laughter & Linguini
